Reports of Jose Mourinho’s mass clear-out at Manchester United has sent fans into panic mode over Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

The 18-year-old was one of the few positives in Louis van Gaal’s final season at United, but the Daily Mail now claims that the right-back is one of nine players who have been told by Mourinho that their future lies away from Old Trafford.

And while some fans have accepted the likely departures of Bastian Schweinsteiger, James Wilson and Will Keane, United supporters are struggling to understand why Fosu-Mensah is among the names on the scrapheap.
And fans from United’s Premier League rivals, including Arsenal and Tottenham, are calling on their club to snap up Fosu-Mensah this summer, if his Old Trafford career is already over.
